Greyhound of the Sea: U.S.S. Razorback is the documentary film project of Jonathan Mattson, Media Lab Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor at the School of Mass Communication at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

 

The year-long project is intended to become a full-length documentary, following the U.S.S. Razorback from her construction in Maine, wartime service, transfer to the Turkish Navy, and journey to North Little Rock, where she now soldiers on as a museum boat. 

 

In addition to a historical timeline of the boat, the documentary will provide insight on her combat missions, life on board, and the dangers of submarine warfare, through in-depth interviews with submarine service veterans and the memoirs of crewmen who have passed on.
